The Link Quartet were born in 1993 and over the years have built a worldwide reputation and became one of the most distinguished bands related to the Hammond Organ sound. A unique mix of funk, beat, rock and soul, strongly tied to the glorious bands of the past and always pointed towards the future for a modern and unmistakeable touch.
The band have worked tirelessly in the studio, releasing 6 studio albums, 2 live albums, several singles and EP’s, working with labels such as Acid Jazz, Record Kicks, Hammond Beat, Sony and many others. They have performed live with many great artists, including Brian Auger, Charles Bradley, Big Boss Man plus Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and have taken part at lots of important festivals.
Also on the bill are Bangor’s finest, The Organauts, describing themselves as Instrumental Garage-Soul. It’s an absolute pleasure to have the band back, especially after their blistering live performance when supporting Smoove & Turrell as part of last years Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival.
DJ support comes from Mr. Superfly Funk & Soul, Belfast’s Pete Brady plus we have Bedford’s main man flying in to join Pete on the decks, Paul Miller, bringing some of his incredible 45’s to spin for y’all!
